References for my 5 Prints



For my Modern Day print I am thinking of drawing everyday, or should I say common, activities that people in these parts like to do video gaming, selfies, jogging, etc.. Im choosing this and not inventions because I think it reflects more of the consumerist attitude. There have been a number of inventions that have caused huge leaps in modern day life, but I think the biggest is the consumerist agenda, and the lifestyle choices, so I am going to draw that.

 

For my Industrial Revolution print, I think its going to be very machine based, with inventors and inventions that shaped that time and also the lifestyle circumstances with miners and child labour.

For my Renaissance Print I would like to draw images that are based mostly in art and scientific thinking that opened the way for technological advances. Below are some examples.

These images are some of the images I am using for my Ancient Civilizations Print. They are timeless and easily recognised. I would like to do some more research into ancient civilizations for this project as well in the future

For the Stone Age Prints I would like to include images of everyday life, like in Modern Day, people doing things that shape their life. Also tools and agricultural development is an important thing to highlight.
