Keyboard Shortcuts for Layer Properties
P = Position
A = Anchor Point
R = Rotation
S = Scale
T = Opacity (Transparency)
O = out point of current layer
I = in point of current layer
B = beginning of work area
N = end of work area
U = reveal all animated properties
UU = reveal all modified properties

Select layers
shortcut U
select first vector press alt to drag the animation sequence to a later time in the animation.

Open Photoshop
Set presets to the ones outlined in the following image

Similar to Photoshop guides, for a safe zone in your animation



AE Left. PS Right
No significant action will be happening outside these lines
Keep text within the innermost rectangle.
Make sure all action happens within the rectangles, anything outside will not be visible when played back

Transparent background, shot is already in frame.
To work with transparency, save as a photoshop file, or JPEG

Viewed in AE. to form transparency, erase background layer
For a Panoramic image in Photoshop selecet image- canvas size

Before importing an image to AE you will get the following pop up . Import as footage

After being imported, images will appear in the project bar to the left of the adobe workspace
Arrange in order of animation and composition

Make sure all elements are on their own layers.

Confirm size and specify duration
With 30 seconds added, a new bar will appear in your timeline. You can zoom in or out of seconds

Crosshair indicates the Anchor Point of each layer when selected.
When clicking composition layers (retain layer sizes) when importing the anchor point will appear on each image not just centre of the screen.

To export, convert your composition into a video
composition tab "add to render Queue"
Select Best Settings tab. Time span, select option of full length video
Output To, where you will save file and title
Once selected everything, select render on the right hand of the screen
