Linoprint Induction

I went into this induction with little in mind in regards to what I wanted to do a lino of seeing as I am thinking of doing monoprint. So I did the two following images.

I did the one one above because I want to practice drawing landscapes and big places, I am more of a figurative drawer and my comfort zone is character design. I did it on very soft lino and am quite pleased with the carvings. The lino though, for some reason was rejecting the ink and gave a very bumpy effect. Im not unhappy with it though, I think it is quite a happy accident.

I am playing the the ideas of time and space within composition instead of actual space (cosmos)

The picture above is the second lino I did in the induction. I used a harder lino and the subject is unrelated to my project. I just wanted to practice different types of markmaking on lino.
