Command- D Shortcut creates new layer

Select "Position" on the left hand side will select all keyframes

Select layer of keyframe and drag to adjust when they appear, so the drops don't all fall simultaneously

Select Cloud to be the parent of the animation-layers

Select spiral to drag over to the cloud layer to make parent layer, and the drops will move with the cloud.

To create a pause in the projection path:

Create keyframe where you would like the pause to happen

Copy/paste keyframe to few seconds after

Easier way is to make two projection paths, one ending where you would like the cloud to stop.

Leave gap for pause and begin rest of trajectory till end for the second.

Audio File Formats for AE

MP3, AIFF, WAV

These formats are all suitable for AE

You can search for Royalty Free audio on Googs if you would like to use ready made audio/music

Handle sound files like you would images.

Import files, only importable as Footage

Audio is longer than composition, so we have to edit this to fit within the 15 seconds of our animation

Add audio into timeline by dragging. Since it has no visual component it can be added into any area

Click and drag the timeline bar to shorten the track

Double click on layer to get a separate window to manually shorten it easier

There is a single property in the Audio

Audio levels- determines the loudness

Audio levels shows sound waves for track

Selecting the blue numbers and dragging left or right will change loudness

You can apply key frames to the audio timeline, to change loudness within the track.

This will be visible in the sound wave

Add to Render Queue

Export options will show audio output audio automatically
