Development of Anna Keres

Anna was a hard one to design. Since she is a main character I really wanted her to look just right. She s a tough character who lives a rough life so I wanted her  to be attractive but not too soft looking. 

Below was one of my first designs. I really like this drawing but she doesn't realy seem to fit the style of Rick holt, a character which I designed first and is exactly the type of character I was after,

Then I came up with these images below which I really like. She's not too conventional looking, with the heart shaped face and barbie eyes most girls in western comics have.
