Penguin: The Development

Because previous covers have used family photos of the Clutter family I figured it was alright to develop an image from a crime scene photo. I wanted to abstract it greatly and not give away too much information and just make it gritty and honest, like the original picture was. I drew my image from a small detail of the original crime scene photograph. 

I used black brush and ink and tried to draw thick expressive lines
