Penguin: Cover Development

These are further design concepts that I am working on. 

The image on the left is of the illustration, with a dark watermark effect behind it, just messing around with the font really. 

Image on the right I am really starting to like. I have opted for a mirror effect on the back cover which I think is actually quite strong. Looks almost like a Rorschach print. Seeing as this book is a psychological thriller, that might be quite good. 

I know from my research and looking at previous covers, and Penguin covers in particular, this might not fly with the company. It doesn't really seem graphic enough for their taste.
