Cheshire Cat Final Print
Happy with the way it came out, to be honest I did not think I would get any prints thats would line up this well. I think next time I print I will need some sort of marker on the page itself because the tape on the table wasn't prefectly straight. Most of the images I had to go by gut feeling. Not to pleased about the pepto bismol pink, I really need to learn colour theory or something.

Alice in Wonderland Development
I have finished my screen print of the Cheshire cat. The process was a bit of the challenge. Because of the nature of my drawings, there were a lot of elements that needed to line up perfectly to have a good looking print. There was a lot of trial and error but in the end I think I got about 6 good prints, out of maybe 20. I wasn't completely pleased with the tone of the pink in it, had a really hard time making it. Must learn to mix colours properly in the future.

RED LIST OF ECOSYSTEMS
The IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature, is as stated by their website-
"... a membership Union uniquely composed of both government and civil society organisations. It provides public, private and non-governmental organisations with the knowledge and tools that enable human progress, economic development and nature conservation to take place together."
The organisation monitors, assesses the environment and advises on the best practices, conservation tools, and international guidelines and standards for organisations, government and general environmental conservationism.
IUCN has compiled a list known as the Red List of Ecosystems, their description is as follows
"The IUCN Red List of Ecosystems Categories and Criteria is a global standard for how we assess the status of ecosystems, applicable at local, national, regional and global levels. Assessments determine whether an ecosystem is not facing imminent risk of collapse, or whether it is vulnerable, endangered, or critically endangered. This will be measured by assessing losses in area, degradation or other major changes such as land conversion."
They have also made a List of Threatened Species for the same purposes.
Because I intend to make wildlife and environmental topics part of my future practice after graduation, after researching the IUCN I find that there could be a potential brief I could make around the work they do.
